We also take COVID-19 protocols very seriously. Our office meets or exceeds all provincial and municipal guidelines for disinfection and sterilization, and social distancing, the wearing of PPE, and a limited number of people in the office at any time is enforced.

Dr. Marshall Train
Dr. Marshall TrainDentist and Founder of Train Dental
Born in 1960, Dr. Marshall Train is a Toronto native. He earned a BA with Distinction in Near Eastern Studies from University of Toronto before pursuing a career in Dentistry and graduated from U of T’s School of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Train opened his first practise on Bloor Street in 1987. After five years, he moved to a larger location at Royal York Road Plaza where it is to this day. Dr. Train has been married to his beloved wife, Tova, for over 33 years, they have three sons, and a daughter who is married to a wonderful young man and who are raising a happy little girl who is Dr. Train and Tova’s first grandchild. An avid reader of mystery novels and all things archaeological, Dr. Train donates his time to fundraising for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, The Toronto Implant Study Club, The Academy of General Dentistry of Ontario, and the CFIB.
Caron
CaronOffice Manager
Caron is a graduate with honours as a Certified Dental Assistant from the Toronto School of Business in 1994, and has been a long-standing integral part of the Train Dental team since 1998. Along with being a Dental Assistant, Caron is the Office Manager at Train Dental attending to the office and clients’ needs. Caron is also an entrepreneur in a small cleaning business. She enjoys spending time with her grandson, family and friends, cooking and living a healthy lifestyle. FUN FACT!!! Caron enjoys reading Romance novels. “It is a pleasure coming into the office every day to a warm and friendly atmosphere and getting to know our patients and helping them to feel welcome and completely at ease from the moment they walk through our door.”
Sandy
SandyDental Assistant & Receptionist
Born and raised in this Etobicoke neighbourhood, Sandy has been part of the Train Dental Team since 2001. Her impeccable organizational and people skills make her an invaluable dental assistant and front desk receptionist. She is also a certified Spin Instructor and a soccer mom who enjoys exercising and spending time with her three lovely daughters. Sandy is also fluent in Portuguese.
Mona Lisa
Mona LisaDental Hygienist
Mona-Lisa graduated with a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Hudson College in 2008. Before becoming a dental hygienist, she was a certified dental assistant and has been in the dental field since 1993. Mona-Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her three sons and one daughter and taking long walks with their adorable Pomchi dog. She also enjoys shopping, reading, cooking new recipes and is very passionate about travelling and exploring new places. Mona loves to create a warm welcoming environment for her patients; attention and care to your oral health is her top priority!
Rochelle
RochelleDental Hygienist
Born and raised in Toronto, Rochelle graduated from the Birmingham Dental Hospital in England. Rochelle is a Registered Dental Hygienist in the province of Ontario and has practiced for over 20 years. Certified in Red Cross First Aid, CPR and X-Ray technology, she is passionate about dental education and is constantly taking various courses to keep herself relevant, as it relates to oral health. A member of the Ontario Dental Hygiene Association (ODHA), and the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association (CDHA), Rochelle has been working with Dr. Train's team since 1993. When away from work she enjoys time at home with her family. When away from her family, she enjoys baking, gardening and experimenting with new recipes. “I enjoy working at Train Dental. Our environment is professional, comfortable, and up to date.”
Mary
MaryDental Hygienist
Mary has been working for Dr. Train for over 15 years. She received her Dental Hygiene Diploma from George Brown College as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Toronto. She is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and is an active member of both the Canadian and Ontario Dental Hygienists' Associations. Mary is bilingual in English and Greek and holds current CPR/First Aid certification. Working as a dental hygienist, Mary strives to make every patient's experience as informative, comfortable and pleasant as possible. She understands the importance of gaining a patient's trust and catering clinical treatment according to each individual's needs and health. In her spare time, Mary enjoys reading, leading an active, healthy lifestyle, pursuing continuing education courses and spending time with her husband, twin kids, rabbits, killer cat, and friends.
Farah
FarahDental Hygienist
Farah is a dental hygienist and has been part of the Train Dental team since 2003. Farah received her undergraduate degree at University of Toronto before receiving her Dental Hygiene degree in Michigan, USA. Farah is passionate about helping our patients. She understands the importance of their oral health and in establishing a lasting relationship based on their needs and goals. Farah continues to upgrade her knowledge through educational courses to provide our patients with innovative ways to maintain their oral health. Outside of Train Dental, Farah loves to travel to exotic places. She is an avid reader and enjoys volunteering in the Sick Kids Telethon and the National Women’s Show. Farah is also fluent in French and Urdu!
Emily
EmilyDental Assistant
Emily is the most recent addition to the Train Dental team. Emily is a Level II dental assistant with a love for travel and her favourite colour Pink!
